Who doesn’t like pancakes? It’s the ultimate breakfast comfort food, plus there are so many options when it comes to making them. You can go the old fashioned way with white flour, eggs and milk… or get a little more creative and put a healthy twist on the ole flapjack. One great way to do that is to incorporate turmeric powder into the recipe.

Tell the truth, your mouth is starting to water, isn’t it? You’re dying to make these pancakes just so you can try out all those yummy pancake toppings. So let’s get to it…
Golden Pancakes Recipe
- 1 cup almond flour
- 1 tablespoon Golden Milk
- ¼ teaspoon baking soda
- Pinch of salt
- 2 large eggs
- ½ cup light coconut milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
In a large bowl mix together the Golden Milk and coconut milk until well blended. Add the eggs and vanilla extract. Slowly add the almond flour, baking soda and salt until well combined. Set aside.
Spray a large griddle, preheated on low, with cooking spray (or your can rub it down with butter or coconut oil). Slowly pour about ¼ cup of pancake batter onto the griddle so that it forms a nice circle. Watch for the edges to bubble and turn golden brown before flipping with a silicone spatula. Cook for another two minutes on the other side or until golden brown. Serve hot with your favorite toppings!
