Different types of yogurts are marketed to young ones because of these advantages. Make sure while choosing yummy snacks for kids that you get yogurt that is plain or filled with fat. Then you could sweeten it with honey or fresh fruit.

Popcorn might be considered junk food, but it is also quite nutritious.

Without unhealthy toppings, popcorn can be a healthy snack for your kids during snack time. It is best to air pop your popcorn and eat it plain, or only put on a little butter. Sprinkling a little bit of parmesan cheese would go very well with popcorn too.

You want your kids to eat veggies during snack time, get the peanut butter, raisins, and celery out. Most kids call it “ants on a log!”

When you want to make these for your kids, break the stalk of celery into a few pieces. Make sure you spread the peanut butter into the celery, and make sure you put in some raisins on the peanut butter.

These three meals, when mixed, give your kids fat, protein and a great proportion of carbs.

These are very high in fiber, antioxidants, and healthy fats. Healthy fats are very important in supporting the growth of kids.

A lot of medical health care professionals recommend giving kids a lot of nuts because they could either get addicted to it or suffer from an allergic reaction. But if kids are given nuts at an early age, the risk of being allergic to it reduces.

If your kid does not have an allergy to nuts, then a trail mix would serve as a very healthy snack for them to eat during snack times.
